Cómo cancelar una factura en el SAT: Qué es el SAT, sus funciones y qué trámites se pueden realizar

En algún momento, todos los contribuyentes tienen la necesidad de pagar o cancelar una factura SAT. Pero es necesario saber cómo hacerlo de la manera correcta.

Para realizar un pago o cancelación de la manera correcta es necesario tener conocimiento expreso de las reglas que norman y rigen este proceso, para poder realizar la cancelación.

A lo largo de este artículo expondremos la manera de pagar una factura del SAT, en cuáles serán los casos en los que se necesita la autorización del receptor.

Cuáles son las circunstancias puedes realizar el pago sin requerir la autorización y también se te informará de como conocer cuándo una factura allá sido pagada efectivamente.

Por otro lado también recibirás la información necesaria para aclarar las dudas (más comunes) al momento de poder corroborar si alguna factura electrónica del SAT fue cancelada efectivamente.

Cómo cancelar una factura en el SAT   

Para poder pagar (Cancelar) una factura, el SAT requerirá la debida autorización del receptor en los casos donde el valor de la operación sea superior a los 5.000 pesos mexicanos.

Adicionalmente el SAT debe enviar la respectiva solicitud de cancelación al receptor, cuando la solicitud de pago (cancelación) por parte del ente emisor sea realizada posterior a las 72 horas al momento de la emisión de la factura.

En estos casos el ente que emite la factura deberá enviar una solicitud de cancelación, utilizando para ello el portal SAT o en su defecto a un Proveedor Autorizado de Certificación (PAC).

El ente receptor recibirá un mensaje por vía de su buzón tributario, en el cual se le informará que ya existe una solicitud de pago o cancelación.

Cómo cancelar una factura en el SAT   

Una vez recibida la notificación el ente receptor puede optar entre rechazar o aceptar esta solicitud de pago, contando con un plazo de 3 días hábiles a partir del momento en que se recibe el mensaje.

En el caso de que el ente receptor no genere respuesta y una vez cumplido el plazo (3 días hábiles), el SAT asumirá como positiva la solicitud de pago y cancelara la factura.

También es importante considerar que si el ente emisor ha realizado la solicitud del pago y el ente receptor la hubiese rechazado en dos ocasiones, a partir del tercer intento para cancelar la factura, el ente receptor no está obligado a contestar en el plazo establecido.

Al ocurrir esto la solicitud de pago de la factura SAT será rechazada automáticamente.

Importante destacar también que no está estipulado un número máximo para las peticiones de pago de factura SAT que pueden enviarse.

Todos los entes emisores que desean cancelar su CFDI deben ejecutar su aplicación en “Mis Cuentas”, dentro del portal web SAT.

Introducir los datos que usualmente se solicitan; los 13 dígitos del RFC, e.firma o contraseña, o también podrán realizarlo utilizando el proveedor de certificación de su preferencia.

También será posible realizarlo desde QuickBooks (sistema de contabilidad electrónica), pero en el presente artículo nos centraremos en la realización del proceso y verificación del mismo, a través del portal web del SAT.

Para poder llevar a cabo este procedimiento será necesario el folio de la factura que se desea pagar.

Este número de folio (en caso de no tenerlo), puede ser localizado dentro del propio sistema, a través de colocar en el buscador la fecha cuando se realizó la operación.

Para poder cancelar una factura del SAT se deben seguir algunos simples pasos, los cuales variaran en relación a si será necesario o no la realización de la solicitud de pago del ente receptor, por parte de la autoridad fiscal.

En relación a lo anteriormente mencionado, existen 3 opciones que pueden ocurrir, una vez que el ente receptor es notificado, las mismas son:

  • Cuando el ente receptor acepta la solicitud.
  • Cuando el ente receptor rechaza la solicitud.
  • Cuando el ente receptor no da respuesta ante la solicitud, y por defecto, el SAT hace la concesión del pago de la factura.

¿Cómo consultar facturas canceladas en el SAT?

A continuación te expondremos lo que debes saber tanto para cancelar la factura del SAT como ente emisor o ente receptor y como consultar o verificar si una factura ha sido efectivamente cancelada.

Para cancelar una factura del SAT como ente emisor, debes realizar el siguiente procedimiento:

  • Ingresar al portal web del SAT (https://www.sat.gob.mx/home), ubicar el botón de “Factura Electrónica”, ubicar la opción “Cancela y recupera tus facturas”.

  • Al realizar lo anterior se desplegara en pantalla el portal de acceso, donde ingresaras tus datos registrados para el acceso (e-firma o contraseña, RFC y captcha).
  • Una vez ingresado en la parte superior del menú de opciones, seleccionar el apartado “Consultar Facturas Emitidas”.
  • Una vez ahí tendrás dos opciones para poder consultar las facturas pendientes a cancelar. La primera es a través del número de folio fiscal y la segunda a través del rango de fechas de emisión.
  • También se podrás llenar la información con los datos del receptor, el estado y el tipo de comprobante, para poder ubicar la factura que se quiere cancelar a través de la búsqueda.
  • El sistema te mostrara en pantalla las distintas facturas con los diferentes datos: RFC emisor, folio fiscal, razón social o nombre del emisor, estado del comprobante (vigente o no) y si la factura es cancelable o no (con o sin aceptación).
  • Ya encontrada la factura, selecciónala en la casilla, y luego en la columna “Acciones” presionar “cancelar seleccionados”.
  • Una vez más te será solicitado por el sistema tus datos de ingreso.
  • Al realizar todo esto, se te mostrara un mensaje en pantalla que indica “cancelando comprobante”. Si la operación resultase exitosa, podrás tener acceso y guardar e imprimir el comprobante en PDF de tu operación.

En el caso queseas receptor y recibas el mensaje de solicitud de pago de una factura SAT, solo deberás seguir los dos primeros pasos de los realizados en el caso de ser emisor. Luego hacer click en consultar solicitudes de cancelación.

Aparecerá un cuadro donde estarán todas las facturas que poseen solicitud de cancelación. Seleccionar la factura que se desea cancelar, y seguir la casilla de acciones.

Seleccionar Aceptar seleccionados o rechazar seleccionados, y luego seguir los últimos dos pasos de los casos si fueras emisor.

Para conocer el estatus de alguna solicitud de pago de alguna factura del SAT, que hayas realizado, debes ingresar al portal SAT, ubicar el menú de Facturas Emitidas.

Seleccionar la factura por la que se haya realizado la solicitud  e inmediatamente podrás saber si se encuentra vigente o si ya fue cancelada.

El SAT no es otra cosa que el Sistema de Administración Tributaria, esta es una institución de tipo gubernamental que se dedica a hacer cumplir todas las disposiciones aduaneras y tributarias, a las personas tanto morales como físicas.

Dentro de las principales funciones del SAT tenemos el exigir a los contribuyentes el pago de la cantidad que corresponda a sus respectivos ingresos o niveles de facturación.

Por otro lado el SAT posee las facultades para desarrollar los procedimientos necesarios para asegurar que los contribuyentes cancelen lo debido.

Qué trámites se pueden realizar en el SAT

Dentro de los principales trámites que se puede realizar a través del SAT tenemos:

  • La inscripción del Registro Federal de Contribuyentes (RFC).
  • Todos los avisos relacionados con el RFC.
  • Validar y Tramitar la Clave Única de Registro de Población (CURP), frente al registro nacional de población e identificación personal.
  • Tramite del alta como persona física y el alta a tu empresa.
  • Obtener toda la información que se relacione con deducciones y percepciones.
  • Tramitar tanto la firma como la factura electrónica.
  • Todas las declaraciones, garantías y pagos relacionados con los impuestos.

Cómo se crea la Cuenta SAT     

Para crear tú cuenta SAT deberás acudir con toda la documentación solicitada para el trámite a alguna oficina del SAT (sistema de cita previa), consigna toda la documentación y  recibirás tu solicitud y el respectivo acuse único del Registro Federal de Contribuyentes.

Cómo pagar el Impuesto SAT   

Para cancelar tus impuestos SAT  puedes hacerlo de dos maneras, en línea y presencial.

Para el pago en línea sigue los siguientes pasos:

  • Ingresa al portal web del SAT (sat.gob.mx).
  • Seleccionar la opción de Créditos Fiscales.
  • Seleccionar la opción Formato para pago total.
  • Selecciona todos los adeudos que desees cancelar.
  • Ingresar al portal bancario que utilices y cancelar, en su defecto se puede ir a la taquilla del banco y cancelar el monto estipulado.

Para el pago de tipo presencial, en esencia es exactamente igual que el en línea, con la diferencia que se realiza directamente en alguna oficina del SAT, en su sala de internet y bajo el asesoramiento y apoyo de la autoridad tributaria.

Es de suma importancia el comprender que como ciudadanos tenemos obligaciones de tipo fiscal y tributaria con el estado, sin importar que seamos personas físicas o morales, debemos cancelar tributos en relación a nuestros ingresos o al nivel de ventas.
