Saber si un Vehículo es Robado o no es algo imprescindible que tienes que tomar en cuenta a la hora de hacer alguna negociación, ya que ello depende que la realización de la compra de este vehículo sea satisfactoria para ti y no genera problemas o pérdidas en tu negociación.

¿Cómo saber si un Vehículo es Robado?
Conocer si es un Vehículo es Robado es un trámite verdaderamente importante para ti si deseas adquirir o comprar dicho vehículo ya que de esta manera podrás determinar en primer lugar si el auto es Robado, tiene multas por faltas a ley o tiene alguna solicitud de captura.
En México las estadísticas de Robo de auto muestran que a diario son plagiados cerca de 241 Vehículos, es decir un aproximado de 10 autos por hora, debido a ello es importante que realices una inspección al vehículo antes de realizar su compra.
Por los tanto es necesario que cuando vayas a comprar un vehículo sobre todo si es usado es que primero te cerciores que este no es Robado, así te evitaras muchas molestias ya que podrías incurrir en un delito, perder tu dinero y hasta ir a parar a la cárcel.
Ahora bien para saber si es Robado un Vehículo, existen dos medios por los que puedes consultar el estatus del vehículo en el Registro Público Vehicular o mejor conocido como REPUVE:
- A través del número de la Placa de Identificación del Vehículo
- Por medio del NIV (Numero de Identificación Vehicular)
Pasos que debes seguir para realizar tu consulta:
Para realizar la consulta en el registro vehicular es muy sencillo solo sique estos pasos que te indicaremos a continuación:
- Ingresa a la página web (repuveconsulta.com/consulta-ciudadana/) del Registro Público Vehicular o REPUVE
- Una Vez allí debes ingresar en la pestaña correspondiente el número de placa del vehículo o su NIV
- Luego debes colocar en la pestaña siguiente el código que te indica el sistema
- Después debes darle clic al Link Consultar
- Por ultimo espera unos segundos y de forma inmediata el sistema te mostrara el estatus legal de tu vehículo
El resultado de tu consulta al sistema de Verificación REPUVE se observa de forma inmediata y en tiempo real.
Resultados que puede presentar la consulta
Los reportes que realizas a través del Portal del Registro Público Vehicular, te arrojaran tres tipos de repuestas con lo que podrás despejar dudas acerca de la legalidad del vehículo entre estas respuestas están:
- El primero y más esperado Sin Reporte de Robo
- Otra de las respuestas es, Con Reporte de Recuperado Por Placa
- Y por último es menos deseado, Con Reporte de Robo
Debes recordar que realizar la verificación de los datos del vehículo que deseas comprar es muy importante, ya sea por el número de placa de patente del vehículo o a través de su número de identificación vehicular o NIV.
¿Qué es el REPUVE?
El Registro Público Vehicular o REPUVE, es una Institución Gubernamental creada por el Gobierno Mexicano
con el fin de mantener un control y registro de todos los vehículos automotores que circulan por todo el territorio Nacional.
Esta Institución se creo como una dependencia del Servicio Nacional de Seguridad Pública (SNSP).
Con la finalidad de regularizar a todos aquellos vehículos automotores para que cumplan las leyes y normas establecidas para ejercer Seguridad Jurídico.
Esta Institución se fundo el 1 de septiembre del 2004, para cumplir una función jurídica establecida en su reglamento.
Con el fin de establecer las responsabilidades penales sobre los actos que se realicen o se cometan con los vehículos dentro del territorio nacional.
El REPUVE cumple las siguientes funciones:
- Establece el fortalecimiento de la Seguridad Jurídica en cuantos a los delitos cometidos en contra o con los vehículos automores
- Ayuda a generar seguridad jurídica sobre el bien o la propiedad vehicular
- Proporciona la información necesaria y justa relacionada con los vehículos en el registro automores, lo que ayuda a tener un mayor control en la seguridad física de estos, ayudando a evitar los robos y secuestros
Hay que destacar que el REPUVE ha tenido una gran importancia al contribuir con la sociedad al ayudar a las autoridades policiales en la recuperación del robo y secuestro de los vehículos.
Esta institución ha creado en la actualidad como medio de prevención la colocación de la calcomanía REPUVE, la cual posee un chip con la identificación del vehículo, además de ayudar a determinar con mayor precisión los vehículos robados.
¿Cómo descargar e imprimir el reporte REPUVE?
Los Reportes REPUVE es aquella información que es aportada por el Sistema de Verificación Digital donde se
determina el estado de legalidad de tu vehículo, con el podrás determinar si el vehículo esta solicitado por robo o esta legal.
Paras poder descargar e imprimir este documento es muy sencillo solo debes seguir los pasos que te indicaremos a continuación:
- Primero Ingresa a la página web (repuveconsulta.com/consulta-ciudadana/) del Registro Público Vehicular o REPUVE
- Una Vez allí debes ingresar en la pestaña correspondiente el número de placa del vehículo o su NIV
- Luego debes colocar en la pestaña siguiente el código que te indica el sistema
- Después debes darle clic al Link Consultar
- Por ultimo espera unos segundos y de forma inmediata el sistema te mostrara el estatus legal de tu vehículo
- Luego ingresa al Link descargar
- Después debes elegir en que archivo guardaras tu descarga
- Inmediatamente después debes abrir el archivo donde lo guardaste
- Después debes ingresar al link en tu escritorio Imprimir
- Luego debes configurar la impresora donde imprimirás (color, número de copias, tipo de página)
- Por ultimo dale al link imprimir y listo recoge tu reporte en físico de la bandeja de la impresora
Ya con estos pasos tu documento sea impreso, solo debe decidir qué vas hacer con tu tramite.
¿Qué hacer si un auto tiene reporte de robo?
Es muy importante que realices una revisión del vehículo que quieres comprar, sobre todo si este es un
automóvil usado, no debes confiarte aun si el dueño de vehículo posee tanto el titulo como el carnet de circulación del vehículo.
En caso de que el vehículo que quieras adquirir tiene un reporte de Robo utiliza los medios de denuncia que te ofrece el REPUVE, y esto lo puedes hacer a través de una denuncia realizando una llamada al número 911 donde debes indicarle a la policía del vehículo robado.
En estos casos donde estén vendiendo vehículos que presenten reportes de Robo, también puedes realizar llamadas anónimas al número 089, de esta forma tu identidad no se debelara y se podrá recuperar el vehículo por parte de las autoridades policiales.
Debes recordar que si adquieres o compras un vehículo robado, no podrás realizar los trámites de legalización de este, e incurrías en faltas graves a la autoridad por lo que puedes ir a la cárcel por cómplice y perder el dinero de la compra.
¿Qué es el NIV?
El Número de Identificación Vehicular o NIV, es un código alfanumérico que es asignado al vehículo en las fábricas
donde se ensamblan para distinguir cada uno de los autos fabricados, y de esta forma mantener un registro de todos aquellos circulan en el país.
El NIV, es el número con el que puedes realizar un registro más detallado del vehículo.
Esto te indica que es un vehículo original que no ha sido adulterado o robado para revenderlo.
Dese el año 1997 las normas y leyes Mexicanas en materia de tránsito vehicular establecieron que el NIV debe constar de 17 dígitos (números y letras RA7XZ5X52JA750595), el cual está divido en tres secciones que indican las características del vehículo tales como:
- Los primeros 3 dígitos números y letras (RA7), indican el fabricante del Vehículo (WMI)
- Después los 6 dígitos siguientes (XZ5X52) conllevan a la descripción del vehículo ( VDS, tipo, modelo, puertas, tamaño, carga, ente otros)
- Los 8 números o dígitos restantes (JA750595), son los que dan la identificación del vehículo (chasis, color, motor, entre otros), se les conoce como el código VIS
El número NIV, por lo general esa ubicado en la parte superior del tablero del lado del conductor, la puerta delantera el lado del conductor o en una placa en la parte inferior del panel corta fuego o la carrocería del compartimiento de motores.
Siempre debes tener en cuenta que este código NIV en el vehículo debe ser igual al que se encuentra en el Carnet de Circulación de tu Auto.
¿Cómo obtenerlo?
Obtener el Número de Identificación Vehicular de tu Vehículo es muy sencillo para ello solo debes revisar los lugares que ya te hemos indicado con anterioridad y en la documentación de tu auto compáralos y si son idénticas
entonces el NIV está en orden.
Este Número de Identificación Vehicular lo encontraras en:
- En la parte superior del tablero, específicamente entre el volante del vehículo y el para brisas
- En un costado de la puerta delantera del chofer
- Y en la parte interior del compartimiento de motores
- También encontraras este código en el carnet de circulación de tu vehículo
- O en el título de propiedad o factura del mismo
Si el serial NIV, esta rayado, adulterado o borrado en la carrocería de tu vehículo, es por que este auto esta ilegal.
Y si no lo reportas lo que te ocasionara problemas Judiciales y Policiales.
Realizar la revisión de las placas, patentes o NIV del vehículo que quieres comprar en el sistema REPUVE, es de suma importancia para ti esto te ayudara a determinar que el Vehículo esta legal y no posee denuncia de Robo.
Con esto contribuye con tu deber de ciudadano para disminuir los delitos de robos de automóviles en el país.
