Requisitos para licencia de motocicleta

Por disposición de la SEMOVI (Secretaría de Movilidad) de México, durante este año 2021 los motociclistas deben portar una nueva licencia Tipo A1, exclusiva para este tipo de transporte y para ello habrán de pasar la prueba de conducir.

Esto se debe a que se ha comprobado que en 60% de los accidentes está involucrada una moto y según la OMS ello causa 1.2 millones de muertes anuales de jóvenes entre 15 y 29 años.

Las pruebas prácticas estarán a cargo de un comité especializado integrado por algunos miembros de la Secretaría antes nombrada, el observatorio de transporte de la UAM, la SSC y el instituto de geografía de la UNAM.

Las pruebas mencionadas atenderán a diversos aspectos como: equilibrio, manejo correcto, rebase seguro, frenado, giros de radio para retornar sin peligro, entre otros como las leyes de tránsito.

Entonces los Requisitos para licencia de motocicleta son:

  • El primer requisito es ser mayor de edad.
  • Luego aprobar el curso.
  • Pagar el costo de la licencia Tipo A para motos que es de 900 pesos con una vigencia de tres años.
  • Agendar la cita.
  • Tener los documentos necesarios:
  • La planilla de solicitud de la licencia para conducir moto, original, puedes adquirirla aquí o en la oficina donde realizará el trámite.
  • Certificado de aprobación del curso 2021 para conducir.
  • Recibo original de pago de los derechos.
  • Comprobante médico de condición física y psicológica del conductor (original y copia).
  • Certificado de capacitación (original y copia) expedido al realizar el curso de conductor de motos.
  • En algunas oficinas como la de Yucatán, pueden pedir carta de antecedentes penales, examen de la vista, de sangre, certificado de conocimiento de la Ley de Tránsito y Vialidad, entre otros.
  • Recibo de pago de algún servicio público: teléfono, TV por cable, agua, gas, energía eléctrica, otros, con vigencia no mayor de 3 meses.
  • Documentos de identificación (original y copia): Acta de nacimiento, cédula de identidad, libreta militar,  pasaporte, si es extranjero, credencial para votar u otro.

Modalidades para el trámite

Las dos modalidades principales son: de modo presencial y por la vía online.

Desde hace algunos años el uso del internet nos ha facilitado mucho las cosas y tenemos la ventaja de poder hacer provecho de este mecanismo, más aún ahora por el problema de la pandemia mundial.

Veamos cada una de las modalidades para el trámite de la Licencia de Motociclista.

Vía online

El gobierno desde el año pasado expresó que expedirá muchos más documentos por vía online debido al problema del Covid-19.

No obstante, esta modalidad no está disponible para quienes optan por esta licencia en una primera oportunidad, es decir, sólo aplica para renovaciones.

  • Todos los documentos mencionados antes deben estar digitalizados en formato PDF y enviados a la oficina correspondiente.
  • Hasta la firma tiene que estar digitalizada, lo cual se puede hacer por el portal del SAT .
  • Pago de aranceles del trámite y el recibo también digitalizado.
  • Ingresa a este portal y haz el trámite en línea.

Requisitos para RENOVAR Licencia de Motociclista ONLINE

De manera presencial

Por los momentos es una vía no recomendable, pero es indispensable hacer uso de ella cuando se trata de tú primera Licencia de Motociclista.

  • Presentar los documentos que te indicamos en la sección de requisitos.
  • Revisa el horario de atención que aplica según el lugar donde realizarás la solicitud de la licencia.
  • Acude en la fecha y hora pautada en la cita.

En este sentido cabe destacar que motivado al distanciamiento social, es necesario que acudas de manera responsable en la fecha y hora pautada la cita, en caso de no hacerlo, deberás programar otra fecha.

¿Dónde se tramita la licencia de Motocicletas?

Debido a las condiciones actuales, es la Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas la encargada de realizar el trámite.

Anteriormente la licencia podía gestionarse en varios lugares, pero en la actualidad no es posible sino en la Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas.

Costo de la Licencia de Motocicleta

La SEMOVI informó que los costos son los siguientes:

La licencia de Tipo 1 tiene un costo de 900 pesos, y tendrá una vigencia de tres años.

En cuanto a las licencias permanentes, no ameritan ninguna renovación.

Sin embargo, cabe destacar que en algunos lugares de la Nación mexicana los costos de licencia pueden cambiar, es bueno que te informes antes de realizar el pago.

Tal como ocurre con los automóviles, las motos requieren también estar aseguradas, esto está establecido en los reglamentos de tránsito a nivel nacional.

Los seguros responden a la hora de un accidente, que puede ser personal o incluso a terceros, y allí es donde radica la importancia de estas compañías.

Muchos evaden asegurar su vehículo porque lo consideran un costo, pero la verdad es que este “gasto” debe ser visto como una inversión, ya que en caso de presentarse en siniestros, robos, choques o impactos a otros vehículos, es el seguro el encargado de responder por el desembolso que corresponda.

  • Estacionarse sobre la línea blanca del paso de peatones mientras espera que cambie la luz del semáforo (puede ser multarlo con de 10 a 20 UMA).
  • Trasladar más de tres pasajeros en la moto, muchas veces sin cascos.
  • Ir hablando por celular mientras va conduciendo o mirar a los lados.
  • Llevar niños menores, incluso bebés, en el espacio que hay entre el manubrio y el conductor.
  • Conducir motos siendo tuerto o manco, incluso inválido.
  • Manejar llevando peso sobre la cabeza del acompañante, tales como cajas, botellas u otros objetos que pudieran caerse y ocasionar un accidente.
  • Comerse la flecha o ir en dirección contraria a la establecida por la autoridad.
  • No respetar las señales de tránsito ni de velocidad máxima en zonas escolares.
  • Estacionarse en sitios prohibidos o de aparcamiento privado, entradas de hospitales u otros centros de salud.
  • Rebasar a otros vehículos por el lado derecho o ir en zigzag por una avenida congestionada.
  • Realizar piruetas y “caballitos” con la moto en lugares concurridos para llamar la atención de los presentes.
  • No tener luces traseras de advertencia para transitar por la noche o en días muy nublados.
  • Adaptarle detrás a la moto remolques o jaulas improvisadas de dos o cuatro ruedas más, para llevar cargas sin autorización expresa de la autoridad de Tránsito.
  • Cambiar el color de la moto de modo arbitrario, y sin modificación declarada en Tránsito.
  • Este tipo de acciones en su mayoría conducen a multas, retención de la moto y en último caso al retiro o decomiso de la licencia de conducir.
